New Friends
This week we had some new friends join us here at Star Kids International Preschool and we had lots of fun! With the lovely, fresh autumn weather we decided to go outside to play in the park before going on a nature walk in the forest, collecting autumn leaves for an exciting craft we will be making next week!
This week we also had fun with painting! We painted pictures, our names and even our hands (sticky, gooey paint everywhere!) Plus we made fresh play-dough from scratch! It was wonderfully messy and fun!
How to Make Play-Dough
For mums and dads who want to make play-dough at home, it’s really easy. All you need is a bag of flour, salt, water, vegetable oil and food coloring. No cooking required! Here is the recipe:
4 cups of flour
1 1/2 cup of salt
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 cup of warm water
Food color of your choice
All you need to do is mix the wet ingredients and food coloring together then slowly stir in the dry ingredients. When the mixture is too thick to stir it’s time to knead it with your hands! Do it with the kids, they’ll love it!
